How we vet products before they reach you
A marketplace is only as good as its worst listing. That is why DreamShop does not simply import supplier feeds and hope for the best — every product in the catalog passes through a vetting pipeline before it becomes visible in the shop.
First, supplier level: we work with established fulfillment partners and score them on shipping reliability, defect rates, and responsiveness. Suppliers that consistently miss estimates get delisted, not warned twice.
Second, listing level: product images are verified so that what you see is what ships. Our image search runs perceptual hashing and embedding comparisons to catch stolen or misleading photos, and prices are re-checked against the live supplier rate — including shipping and duties — so the price you see is the price you pay.
Third, feedback level: complaints and returns feed back into supplier scores. A product with a rising defect rate is pulled automatically pending review. The catalog is never static; it is a running quality filter.
If you spot a listing that looks wrong, report it. Every report is reviewed by a person.
